Meal Offerings to Sherabling Sanghas for year 2021

Dear Friends of Palpung Lungtok Choeling,

It is time for our annual sponsorship program of 2-day meals (3 meals/day) for the Sanghas in our headquarters at Palpung Sherabling Monastery.

Same as we did in previous years, we selected 2 particularly meaningful days to make these offerings:

• One day of the Long Mahakala Puja which commences before the Tibetan calendar year-end to welcome the coming year and to pray for a smooth and prosperous new year. (This date varies from year to year based on the Tibetan calendar). This year happens to be the same as Chinese New Year time.
• July 1- the anniversary date of Palpung Sherabling Monastery. The 12th Tai Situ Rinpoche first arrived at Sherabling on July 1, 1975 and decided to build the Palpung Sherabling Monastery there, leading to the birth of the Palpung Congregation.

As we did before, there are 2 levels of sponsorship that you may consider:

• Level 1 - $75 providing meals for 25 Sanghas for 2 days.
• Level 2 - $150 providing meals for 50 Sanghas for 2 days.
